Gigi Chavez was born in Texas and raised between Houston and Managua, Nicaragua. She is of Dominican and Nicaraguense heritage through her parents, having grown up immersed in both cultures. She speaks fluent Spanish and English. Chavez started performing at four yeard old through community endeavors and has since gained professional and educational experience.
